About Purrecious 9 Lives Rescue

At Purrecious 9 Lives Rescue, we proudly strive to provide a loving home for cats that have been abandoned or neglected. We are a non-profit organization located in Shawnee, Kansas that has been rescuing cats since 2013. As of today, we have helped around 200 cats with our Trap-Neuter-Release program and provided shelter and medical attention when needed. We also offer resources and advice on cat care, nutrition, behavior training, adoption tips and more. Our team of dedicated volunteers works hard every day to ensure the wellbeing of cats in need.

Precious was rescued April 2009 and we developed such a special bond that I knew this cat rescue nonprofit would be named in her memory. She passed away 5/16/2020 on my pillow sleeping by my head. Precious is my soul spirit kitty and guides me on this rescue journey.

Our Mission: Purrecious 9 Lives is improving and saving community cats’ lives in the Kansas City metro area. I’m also a cat advocate…. whenever I can make a cat’s life better I will advocate for the cat by educating and partnering with their humans. Every cat deserves a safe community in which to live, wherever they live.
